Comb Coiled Locs

Being one of the more traditional form of locs, comb coils allow for evenly distributed locs around the head and a consistent look as they mature.

I recommend going with comb coils early on in your nappy journey, as opposed to when you have more than 6 inches of hair length, due to the form being soft initially, and the inside of the comb coil being hollow. Your locs will surely be affected by water and could become loose, so it is best to avoid getting them wet outside of regular cleaning. However, this comb coils, on average, take the least amount of time to bud and lock compared to other starting styles.
